Sony recommends that you pair (of course) this sub with their complete range of CS speakers which include the SSCS3 tower speakers, SSCS8 center channel speaker, SSCS5 bookshelf speakers, and SSCSE Dolby Atmos enabled speakers. However, you can pair this sub with nearly any set of home theater speakers.

The performance of the Sony SACS9 isn’t perfect. This sub does only have a 10” woofer. When we moved this to a large room, the bass had less impact. Also, when maxing out the volume, the subs bass output did start to lose some cohesion.
